First Father's Day Gifts He'll Love

Dad's first Father's Day is another exciting milestone for new parents. For a busy new dad, quality time and a little appreciation go a long way. Here's my list of gift ideas that will make him feel extra special this year.

FRAMED PHOTO

Most likely you have an unused photo of just dad and baby - now's the time to use it. Frame it and give it to dad for his office, display it somewhere in the house or add to an existing gallery wall. This might seem basic but he'll be beaming with pride.

I LOVE DAD BOOK

Reading to baby is one of the best ways that daddy can bond with baby, especially during the newborn phase. Use the inside cover as your card and write a sweet message to dada from baby.

This and so many options at Indigo. I got Cory this one for his first Father's Day and Ben still loves reading it.

STYLISH JOGGERS

Another gift I gave Cory for his birthday was a pair of joggers from lululemon. The perfect put-together sweat pant look for #dadlife. He's also obsessed with lulu underwear if you want to throw in a couple pairs of those.

lululemon ABC Jogger (I just found out what ABC stands for, haha!)

NEW BBQ TOOLS

Chances are first time parents are getting used more dinners at home. What better time to hone those BBQ skills and get a new tool set. Add in this grilling guide book, Steak Revolution: All Cuts, All Ways, and you can thank me later.

FUNNY CARD

If Dad's a simple guy that just needs a nice meal and a card on Father's Day - get him one that he'll love. Is he obsessed with Star Wars? This card below makes us lol every time.

QUALITY TIME

Make the day all about dad. Put together a pic-nic with all his favourite foods or strap baby in the carrier and go for a hike. We think dad will appreciate some low key bonding time.

I hope these gift ideas are helpful. Let me know what you think by sending me a message on Instagram or Facebook, share this post with friends or email me anytime at haley@ketzelbaby.com.

With Love, Haley
